Dr. Rachel Ward

Dr. Rachel Ward was born and raised in Midlothian with a lifelong love for animals.

As an adult, she found a passion for veterinary medicine as it fosters the human-animal bond and encompasses caring for humans and their animals.

Dr. Ward went to Virginia Tech for her undergraduate career and received her B.S. in Psychology and Animal Science. Dr. Ward attended and received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Ward enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors in her free time and has a bucket list goal to visit every U.S. National Park! She also enjoys loving her fur child Asher (a beagle-golden retriever mix), and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Ward's veterinary interests include preventative medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine. Dr. Ward is very excited to return to the Richmond area and provide veterinary care for all of your sweet fur babies!
